"We're doing Italy & Germany for Christmas 2006. I can't wait.!! I've been wanting to go for years, but that's just such a big big trip. We need at least 2 weeks."

If you have time and really want to get away for a few days check out Sicily. I was there four years ago about this time of year, and aside from a few tourists in Taormina my wife and I didn't run into anyone from a tour group. We visited small towns along the north and east coasts from Palermo to Messina, down to Taormina and back using the train. If you do go bring some snacks, not many restaurants are open in small towns during the off season. Chips and soda had to work for dinner on more than one occasion.

What a eye opener, but it was something I always wanted to do after watching all those Tarzan movies.Went to Munich Germany this year for October Fest, what a Blast!!
I'd like to be a stowaway in your suitcase! You're going to all of the spots that I'd like to go to!

I want to go to Africa so badly. A woman I work with just got back from a similar trip & just couldn't stop raving about how amazing it was.

Where did you stay for the Safari??

I love the Adirondacks too! Winter is incredible and summer is just about perfect.
But, I am a beach lover and really love St. John. Actually thinking about buying a small place in St. Croix.

For Diving: Maldives, Bonaire, Palau - Tahiti - All fabulous. Cozumel is good for a close dive destination. They are much more intent on protecting the reef there than in Belize. Don't know how it fared after the hurricane, though.

Aruba - never again. "One happy island" - NOT! We call it A-RUDE-a! Nice beaches, though.

St. John is nice. Don't like St. Thomas or St. Maarten.

Alaska B4 U Die! for sure!

Just to name a few.

Lacy: have to agree: Tabacon Springs in Costa Rica is stunning! Had the best rum punch at their pool bar. (Hope Jet doesn't see this one!)
