Plan to take water taxi from SP to Marine Terminal. Can I catch a Novelo's bus (or other) from the terminal to San Ignacio or do I need to travel to the bus terminal by taxi. I am aware of the bus crisis currently going on. what are my options?

Taxi or walk to the bus station. No bus from the Marine Terminal to SI (except the Tikal direct bus which goes thru SI but not sure you can get off - would be more expensive anyway)

So it is a short walking distance to the bus terminal from the marine terminal. Has there been any good news about the continued operation of Novelo's?

it's a pretty fair hike to the bus station, as I recall.

Last time we used a taxi and it was 6 BZE. To walk would be in the 20 to 30 minute range, depending on your luggage and baggage load.
