Nice place, good value for the money. You'll be happy there.

Tradewinds is one of the best low-moderate options on the peninsula. It's right on the point. The pastel cabins are cute, though pretty small. Very popular. I gave it a star (highly recommended) in the new Fodor's.

Is there a website for info on tradewinds?

I don't think they have a website, but there is a little blurb about them on www.placencia.com, and it gives their email address. It's a good site to compare hotels, as many of them here probably find a website too expensive.

Thanks for the input - we're looking forward to our visit. Only 5 weeks away yeah!
