My two best friends and I are all in our early 20's and are going to San Pedro for 2 months (May & June 2006) and were just wondering a few things:
1) How is the nightlife there? We love to go to clubs and dance, drink and have a great time until early the next morning.
2) Our condo is 20 minutes away from town, how long will it acutally take us to walk to the main part of town? and is it safe for us to walk say after the bars?
3) Has anyone stayed at or know anything about the 1 bedroom apartment at the Coral Reef Villas just outside of town? I am trying to get some reviews on it.
4) Any other fun things for us ladies to do while we are there would be appreciated.
5) Where else on the island do you recommend on the island to mingle with other locals?

thanks guys!

The first thing you should do is not post the same question in more than one place wink
We're getting too old to do the watch the sun come up thing but the bars were still going strong when we headed in around 2 am -so you should find plenty of places to party - if your condo is 20 minutes away from town shouldn't it take you about 20 minutes to get to town? Tell us where you're staying and we can probably give a better answer. There's lots to do - depends on your idea of fun - go snorkeling, try a day trip to one of the ruin sights, rent a golf cart and check out the island from end to end. All the beach bars are great places to catch some shade and meet people. You can't help but have a good time - enjoy!

1) nightlife...you guys will enjoy it. There are things that fit your criteria.

2) when you say your condo is 20 min from town, by foot, bike?? Is it Coral Reef?

3) Coral Reef Villas, nice place. 20 min walk from town. Recommend taking cabs forsure at night to/from the clubs. Or hop in friends golf carts.

4) what else do you like to do for fun? Dive? Workout? Swim? What is fun for you?

5) You will mingle everywhere you go with people on the island. easy.

1) There are 3 nightclubs none of which get hopping until 12:30-1am and 1 that stays open till 6am. Plenty of bars with live music every night. Ladies night at Wet Willy's every Wed. till 2am.

2) It's a twenty minute walk, assuming it's Coral Reef.

3) Decent location close to Barefoot Iguana's and Canucks. Grocery a 2 minute walk away. Plus you can use the pool at Banyan Bay, a 5 minute walk.

4) The land sharks at ladies night should keep you entertained.

5) BC's, Cholo's, Pedro's, Fido's, Canucks.
