Rained here in jersey today, but still was around 58 degrees. I'll take it for february!

Friday we had 14 inches of rain fall in some locations, in less than one day. Major flooding problems in some areas.Some major roads had to be closed and National Guard had to be called in to help evacuate some people. 4 inches of water in our office in StPetersburg and a few roofs that caved in. We were behind in rainful by about 6 inches, not a problem anymore. Luckily no serious injures though. And also why we pray EVERDAY that no hurricane like Katrina comes our way.

Well it's a whopping 16 degrees today in Minneapolis. The rain turned to ice (as it was in the 40's) then to snow - we are back to a winter wonderland. My hope is that all the rain I see posted/forecaseted almost everyday for Belize is in Belize city and not San Pedro!! We are looking forward to our first trip to SP end of the month - need a break from the cold!
