Oh yes, immissing. This time I'm travelling with one other friend...a wild redhead named Sylvia. You have a great memory and I love your reference to "gallow friends". We would love to hook up with some of the boarders. Would love to meet you too!!!
We will be there May 26th. We leave ATL (we're from Macon, GA) at 6:50 and arrive in San Pedro around 3PM via Tropic Air. Can we look forward to making your acquaintance?
I talked to a young gringa yesterday who is afraid for her life. She’s been here a couple of weeks and immediately “hooked up” with a local guy. She was considering moving down here for she had found “true love.” Yesterday morning his wife came banging on her door. SURPRISE! No, she didn’t know he was married; in fact knew nothing about him at all and was totally unaware of the culture here. I told here about Linda Chorney’s song “Island Boy.” I also suggested she read “Don’t Stop the Carnival.” She was finally able to laugh. She can’t move until this holiday weekend is over as there is “no room at the inn” so she is hiding out. I’ll bet he finds her before the wife does. WHAT THEN? Wanna take bets?
It is amazing how people who are smart and cautious back at home come here and loose their mind the first day. Is it the air – the sea – the people -oh – maybe the booze!
