At local bar, we put all names in a cup, draw a piece of paper, with horse number, pay your $25, and sit back and wait.
Then come side bets with which horse will beat anothers, starts adding up.

you will have trouble betting point given(you will only find his name in the bloodlines of point determined). in my opinion point determined could be the horse to beat, and i have bet him, weeks back in the futures pools. i am going to use him with barbaro,sweetnorthernsaint,and a.p. warrior in the gimmicks. good racing!

I used to go to the harness races with a female friend who now lives in your part of the world, L. She picked all her horses by the jockey colors and how much of a hunk they were. We had lotsa good dinners from that methodology :p ( and covered my losses

Kic, I remember harness racing. Ever seen one were more"brakes" were applied instead of reins? Thought some of the jockeys were going to break there legs holding back like that.

Any last minute thoughts.

In the 10th at Churchill,Barbaro,son of Dynaformer,with Prado on board,wins the roses by 6 and one-half lengths.I guess we know why Pat V was a 50-1 long-shot now.

I hit the pick 4 and a few tifectas and a pick 3 at Hollywood Park yesterday...what a great performance by Barbaro!!!

And at least we got to root for a while for Pat V.!! 1:10 for the 6 furlongs was WAY to fast to last!!
