Looking for family type accomodations in Placencia in late December. A kitchette would be great, tv for my little addicts, and a pool would be absolutely wonderful. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Casa del Sol, depending on your budget. Look it up on placencia.com. It's set up for two separate families, or can be used for one large group. Four of us (my wife and I and another couple) took one half of it last January. It had its own pool, deck, and a great quiet strip of beach.
