I know the mt pine ridge area is quite small, relaxed, and not much out there. Are there any restraunts besides where you are staying? if so, recommendations?

Don't know of any free standing resturants...I'm sure there are none. I would suggest lunch at Blancanux (SP)...the brick oven pizza's are great and a walk about the grounds is worth a special trip. PS. Riff-Raff not allowed!!!

Blancaneaux and Five Sisters restaurants are open to the public. Hidden Valley Inn is not without a reservation. Was at BL last month and really enjoyed my gnocchi w/pork ragu sauce. San Ignacio is a 40 min drive you don't want to do in the dark without knowing those roads.

spl - thanks for asking this question - we will be in that area for our first trip inland the end of November and will be staying in the area.

once you turn off the "main" road in the Pine Ridge, you will pass Blancaneaux to get to Five Sisters.
