I'm only there from the lst till the fifth, then on to San Antonio, Tx. Hey, I've lived all over the world, don't want to live there!!! I live in the best place in the world!!!!!!!!!!!! OOOO, but, fast food, buffet's, raw oysters, got a ticket for Blue Man Group, two of my favorite people from here are getting married in a silly vegas wedding chapel! What more do I want for a fun four day vacation@Q

Vegas is great! Been there once. Bought the t-shirt...As far as San Antonio though, you need to do the riverwalk and go and eat at Mi Tierra at the Market place downtown! I live 50 miles south of there and have to have my "city fix" about twice a month!

Also, I agree about San Antonio! Riverwalk is great fun! I was just there a few weeks ago. Perhaps you'll get as lucky as I was to witness a drunk guy falling over the bridge... handcuffed... yelling cuss words... kinda drowning ... lots of cops around... tourists snapping their cameras... a site to see!!! ;P

TQ! You lucky dog! I'd have PAID to have seen that on the riverwalk. Although I have been down there quite a few times, I have yet to be lucky enought to see a drunk fall in.....but I have been close to going in the drink myself!

divingcowgial, I lived in San Antonio for 3 years and never saw anything like it. I'm there one night and... well you know the story. It was quite entertaining to say the least. I was trying to distract my 5 year old from watching the scene as it was no G-rated incident. Lots of cussing and the guy was VERY drunk. I'm not sure how I would have explained that had she noticed but with everyone standing around, she couldn't see anything. Great fun - VERY entertaining!!!

I LOVE Mandalay Bay - if that's the only place to plan to go. Ohterwise, that walk down the strip after some coctails is a real b*. Cabs take too long.

G&D, we will be in Vegas 26-29 too! Probly wont be at MB. We are booking too late for any deals. But the Luxor is on the list of possibles.

OH MY LORD!!! How can one human have so much fun??? Just left Vegas...now in San Antone...never walked so much in my life! Three days is not near long enough. LOVED BLUE MAN GROUP! How inventive! Great weather there, mid 80's, my favorite hang-outs, Caesar's Palace, loved the dealers and machines, and really had the most fun with live music at the Venetian. Tried to see everything, couldn't. Did eat lots of buffett's saw the sky show at Rio, Wanted to be on Price is Right, but not enough time. They were there for the week. Elton John gets there the 10th, so really tried to win, so could stay extra week. Next adventure starts today. Right now, am just relaxing at Mom's.

WW, this is good info. We'll be there 26 to 29 so this helps us figure out what to do. Sounds like Ceasars for gaming and the Venetian for live music...(we got tickets for Circue/Ka) Most importantly...where was the best buffet?

Razor, Rio has a great seafood buffet! Get there early, it's usually a really long line but worth every minute!

Law is right. Love the Rio seafood buffet! If you want to check out smaller, local places, Ellis Island Casino and Bar off the strip has great steak/drink specials and a good local crowd.

Buffet at Rio was better than one at Orleans, but I went on Seafood nite at Orleans. Ate so much crab, oysters, clams, mussels and shrimp and all that & more was $16.95 Rio was about $25 but tons more selection and all good, wait till you see the desserts!!!!! Ya'll are not going to believe this, but Blue Man Group is here in San Antonio this weekend!!!!!!! Lord love a duck! Shorter and smaller show, but still!!!! Go during the week to buffets, not so much peoples. Al & Janet, will send long e-mail manana. Just came back from the bx on base and got new camera so gotta learn so can take good pictures so you can see where I is!!!

mmmmmmmmmmmmmm yes Rio has a great seafood buffet. Their regular buffet is terrible to me and the seafood one is outstanding!! Yum. Bellagio has the most outstanding buffet, selection, and quality of food in all of Vegas.

WW, you've got me excited tonight! Leave for Sin City on Sunday!!! Will definitely try the Rio and Bellagio buffets....have tickets for "O" but no Blue Man Group.

mmmmmm u got me all excited about SOMETHING back there! LOL! Bellagio food is tastes like high end/upper scale restaurants which I have never found anything so high end at any other buffets in Vegas. Mirage is pretty good, but Bellagio makes me say "O"!!!!!!!!!!!!! and by the way, "O" would be one of my favorite shows seen there too!
