They're doing very well thank you although I did see some wearing winter jackets the other day.

I'm assuming you're asking about mosquitoes and sand flies? Not a problem right now.

The mosquitoes are a whole heck of a lot better, but I have just as many sand flea bites as I've had since we got here in October. I seem to be in a minority though, only heard of one other person who has as many bites as I do. I also have a strong reaction to the bite, so I keep a stock of bandaids and first aid. If you are bothered by bites, the spritz-bottle of bactine is good to have with you. And if you see a blonde chic stitched together with bandaids, say hi. :-)

Close, but no cigar. Eyes are still unscathed, for now. :-)

I just got back from Belize last Friday. We spent 18 days in various districts. I was eaten alive by sand fleas and no-see-ums, despite the liberal application of deet.. Had a BAD reaction to the latter, so my arms and legs looked polka-dotted. My husband, on the other hand, was virtually unscathed.

This is quite the opposite of the normal situation up here in North America, where most bugs think I'm icky and that the husband is the best thing since filet mignon.

I still wanna go back though....
