Howdy all. KLC I've been up in your neck of the woods lately, beautiful Maine. Coming back I spent 9 hrs on a plane from Boston on the dreaded rainy Monday the 16th, the subject of this thread. They kept closing the da#n Houston airport and we couldn't land. Only had to stop for gas once in New Orleans. Sad news: While I was up there one of my dogs died, only had the pleasure of his company for 1 yr. He was a rescue, 9 yrs old, heartworms, arthritis you name it. Poor old guy, his heart just couldn't take it anymore and traditional heartworm treatment would have killed him for sure. Let this be a warning to all: GIVE YOUR DOG HEARTWORM PREVENTATIVE. DUH! *******-duh. (Please?) Mr Malibu was nursing him to what he thought was better health and he died, poor Mr Malibu had to call and tell me while I was out of town the dog died. It was, to say the least, extremely sad. We will miss him forever.
All back to work, home and all that now and mostly dry eyes.
