Good Mid-priced: Chon San Palace (Chinese)
That Indian restaurant on Barrack Road that Pedro1 always orders from.
Chateau Caribe.

Good Cheap: Friendhip Restaurant (Chinese again).

I dunno, there's loads more, help the poor guy/gal out please!

What about the new place - Celebrations?

My buddy keeps telling me Pirates (chinese) is the place to go.

The new restaurant "Celebrations" gets my vote. It is on "Marine Parade Drive" in BC. Other than that. Chef Bob's which is "under new management" still has the same menu and Chef.

Pirates is good. Celebration has good food with a dash of bizarre comedy, the type that inspires skits. Order the riggatoni with Italian sausage with marinara sauce, that comes instead with polish smoked sausage and no marinara sauce. Thats how they make it. It happened to be good. Study the greeter outside, 1/2 the fun.

I like the taco stand across the street from the Marine Terminal.

"Smokey Mermaid"

I like the Indian Restaurant close to the Princess. Samathi is the name of it but closed on Monday's and Old Belize is a real treat out the western highway good basic food at very fair prices and great ambiance.

The Harbour View certainly has the best views and some of the best food in the city. Katie Valk and I had dinner there in December, and my snapper with mango cooked in a banana leaf was amazingly good.

If you don't mind spending Us$30 to $50 a person with drinks, I think Harbour View is the way to go.

Sun Spree under new mgmt again and now serves Chetumal-type Don Jose tacos. ie pibil, arracheras, etc. Tasty.
