Mrs. Otter has very graciously agreed to stay with the kids since she will have just returned from a girls-only weekend to Windsor.

We have a getaway planned for the two of us next Summer.

otter: when i was in that situation 3 yrs ago, i just went alone. there were baord members etc to keep me company, even met me at the sp airport, no problem. if dude needs THAT much convincing, you will have just as good a time "alone". sin, deacon, lara & co will take care of you!

I've never travelled overseas alone, but there's a first time for everything I'll hold out for now so we'll be able to book travel together if he comes around.
