took a swing out in the harbour this evening at
5pm to get a feel for the weather. Non
scientific. No wind whatsoever. Skies blue/grey
like rain but no rain. Beautiful sunset from
Stake Bank.

Counted five sartaneja fishing boat coming in
under full steam with 10-12 dories stacked on
their decks. Looked like ants streaming in. Only
one fast lanchon speeding out toward St George's
Caye.

Boats streaming in all afternoon but mostly
fishing sloops packed and loaded to the gills
with subsistence fishermen. Then once tied up,
stripping their sloops of outboard motors, sails,
and sealing up the cabin.

Will take another run up the river and out to the
harbour to see flow of traffic, size of waves,
winds, currents, and to check out the feel of the
sea.

Will keep you guys posted.

Waves started picking up this morning and are gaining height.
