the g/f and i arrive in cancun on the 13th of april at 13:55. we have booked accommodation in placencia on the 14th and 15th of april so we can do the whale shark tour on the 15th.
can anyone suggest the easiest route/method to placencia and a place to evernight en route to placencia on the 13th of april?
we then need to get to belize city for a flight to tikal on the 16th at 15:00.
once again - how long will this take and what method / routes are best?

Have not tried this....need to get near Chetumal (Mexico) that evening. Then next day to Corozal..fly starting aout 8AM to San Pedro to Belize City to Placencia.
