You can see all stormtracks since 1851 for Ambergris Caye. In the climatology section there is also a weekly analysis of the data which shows when the real peak of hurricane season is for Ambergris Caye and a five-year analysis to find out if more storms have passed close by Ambergris Caye recently.

Excellent data. Looks like September & October are the trouble months, historically speaking.

Frequency for bad ones is fairly spread out.

Thanks for all this info; my son and I just left; not for the hurricane, he has to report to football camp and school. My daughter and her friends have just arrived! So, sitting here, very north, I am worried and will be watching.
