I am a 23 year old student in NY wanting to spend the whole month of January 2002 in Belize.
I am willing to work in exchange of room and board!
If there is an animal rehabilitation type of places that needs a help it will be more than lovely but naturally, I am open for loads of things!

I think thats probably where you should start.
Dr. Bron does have people checking the board so maybe one can be of further assistance.

there are a lot of opportunities for volunteering. Try Birds without Borders in San Ignacio, Cornerstone Foundation, or the WWF which is starting a project studying the reef & marine biology. Good luck! Oh- you way want to volunteer at one of the mayan ruin sites, they often need help- try Xunantunich, El Pilar, or Caracol.

I am a 22 yr old student from Alberta, Canada and will be in Belize from January - mid April student teaching. I have a friend coming with me who is also looking for volunteer opportunities. Who knows, maybe we will run into each other.
