One system is sold by Ken Schumann with Urbano as his satellite tech: 226-4522, 614-7888; computer tech they use is Julian Rivero: 226-3703, 614-5936. A second system is also sold in country; Julian may know through whom.

The other system that is available in Belize is DirecWay. This system is now on a satellite that is favorable to Belize and therefore a very good system can be obtained from the small dish that comes with the system.

About a month ago my wife and I attended a course in Houston to become certified in the installation and service of this system. The company that we are associated with is Houston Media Systems and they can be found on the Internet at www.dbstv.com. Owner is Mel Berry and he has been installing Satellite Internet and TV systems here for about 10 years. A very good, and reliable company.

Cost is $2000.00US installed and the monthly charge is $59.00.

We live in San Pedro and will be able to install and service the systems anywhere in Belize. We are also able to look after Satellite TV needs.

Thanks for the info. Although the startup costs are higher than I anticipated, at least I know that it CAN be done. I don't expect to take any action this minute. Additionaly info still appreciated.
