anyone have any recent experiences s hipping with "hyde shipping", tropical shipping" or "allison shipping"?....any input would be appreciated....pros and cons??? also experiences with customs brokers???....have a few names, but, can anyone recommend a good one....just signed the lease on a house in corozal....moving in june 1, 2004...

Billy Valdes or Melin Gomez in Belize City are both very good.

We use Speed Cargo out of Miami and Billy Valdez. Both have been very reliable.

Just used Hyde shipping last month. Everything was perfect, only ONE champagne glass got broken, out of 85 boxes!!!!
The broker we used was however, dreadful!!!!!! I won't put his name, but will say that we have used Billy Valdez in the past, and WILL go back to him in the future.
Good luck in your move. Corozol is a beautiful little town and I love visiting there. The day trips over to Chetumal are great too.

Hey Kerry, Glad to see your dream is progressing to reality! Are you bringing the records? Remember the radio station/music store idea? I have not been to Corozol yet, plan to get over there sometime this winter. I will be in San Pedro Jan 9 to Mar 9. Will you be in Belize anytime during those dates?
