Hi,
I own some property in Belize. I am a new owner and want to make sure to get my property tax paid.
Can someone please tell me when the taxes are due? How to determine how much they are? What is the best way to pay them from the U.S?
I'm coming down soon but I'd prefer to have it all handled before I get there if possible.

You can call the planning Dept, (San Pedro Town Board) 011/501/226-2198 or 2788. I think they bill in January and they are due in June, there is plenty of grace time.

In San Pedro the tax year for property runs from April 1 - March 31.
