We recently purchased land on the north end of AC and plan to start construction as soon as possible, probably within 4-6 months. I'm looking for suggestions on where to go and who to see about purchasing a solar and/or wind generator system since there will not be electricity that far north on the island for quite a while. Thanks in advance for your help.

Try the site on this website that has Contruction companies and their e-mail addresses. My friend is building a resort in the Habaneros section of AC and has a generator as a back up. Electricity is working itself to the north slowly. He is using Mayan Contruction comp.
Try his e-mail address [email protected]
he maybe able to help too.

Try contacting Salamander Hideaway

Their resort is solar and wind powered and they're up in your neck of the woods.

The former Estean Way used to have lots of solar power hardware...from before the world was supposed to end at the beginning of this millenium. They are located amoungst the Noah's Ark statuary.

What is going on there now? Last time I was up Essene way looked like everything was vacant. Anybody been up there recently?
