I am new to the Forum.

I am interested in opening an IT outsourcing business in a Caribbean / Central American country. I have capital and am currently in the early research phases of planning. I have had some problems getting Belize chambers to return my calls.

Any Suggestions?

Intelco was outsourcing from their headquarters outside of Ladyville, not sure of the status anymore. There are a good number of online casinos running out of Belize. Communictions costs and reliabilty will be your biggest headache and you'll have to have a DR centre outside of Belize to ensure continuity.

That's right. I do remember you saying that when I met you at BCs -- I was near pissed (British-style)-- sorry. It was fun to hear you talk about how you went from IT to provisioning -- a great livin' the dream story.

Must have had a few myself, forgot all about it, BC's does that to you!

Thanks for the information. I will be making these contacts soon. Currently, my front runners in country selection are Belize and the Dominican Republic. Belize seems to have an advantage in “outdoors type” of life. You have the jungle, rivers, ruins and wildlife.
