You can ship thru the cargo division of American Airlines. As long as each box is not over 70 lbs....it isn't real expensive.

Contact the cargo division at American and see what they say.

Whatever you do, don't go through XPresslane in San Pedro to ship your stuff; she's way too expensive and has a bad reputation for not doing her job well. She also has all these "hidden" charges and will hold your household goods hostage until you pay up. Not a nice or reputable way to do business.

I've heard good things about Mike Singh/Jose Gomez at Belize Transportation Agencies can get whatever you want to Belize the cheapest and most reliable way there is. Contact them at 011-501-2-73507. Or check out the website at www.belizetransportation.com

Another shipping company that trucks to Belize is Wingbridge is (561) 745-3134
Fax (561) 745-3134

Amerijet flys out of Miami and has the most reasonable air freight prices to Belize. You can check them out at their wesite at http://www.amerijet.com You will probably have to hire a Belizean customs broker also.

You might also want to try Taca air because supposedly that's who American & Continental ship their cargo through, they charge by the Kilogram.

Hi:

Try Hyde Shipping out of Miami. They ship cargo on a freight boat. Ask for Benny Torres. They have been shipping to Belize for several decades and have an excellent reputation. They can also arrange inland trucking to thier port.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
Wendy

Although I've never used them, Hyde Shipping has a good reputation and many of my friends use them.

When my Belizean friends are in the States, they ship stuff home via freighter. www.hydeshipping.com
I understand it is the most reasonable way to go for large, bulky items. They ship by size rather than weight. Haven't tried it myself yet.

Hi,
I used Hyde Shipping last year to ship a boat motor to my dad. It was picked up by one of the local freight trucking company, and arrived in Miami by Wed, shipped out on Thurs. and in Belize by the following Tuesday. My dad got a broker to get it out of customs and paid the duty on it.
It was much less complicated than I thought it would be and Benny Torres with Hyde knew the routine well.
