#216070 - 04/30/02 04:34 PM Tikal, before or after CC???
I want to go to both Tokal and to CC, but can decide which to do first.

I am planning to arrive in Belize from the US at 9:45am on a saturday morning, and to leave the following saturday on the 5:45pm flight.

With the way the buses run, does it make more sense to go to Tikal first, or after CC?

many, many thanks

Got to Tikal after Caye Caulker, fly back from Tikal on Tropic Air and you will already have arrived at the International Airport to get your international flight.

Yes and you can buy tix from Belize City to Flores and on to Tikal right here on CC. The Mundo Maya buses leave twice daily: 10 am and 5 pm for $8 US and Flores to Tikal for $5 US.
Enjoy Belize first!

Does the Mundo Maya Bus run from Tikal-Flores-Belize City?

I am visiting Caves Branch, San Ignacio, Tikal and then on to Caulker.

Prefer doing all this by bus.

See ya in June

Hi again:

If that is your itinerary, you will not be able to ride on the minibus that leaves from the water taxi terminal. The license of those minibuses only allow them to drop off and pick up people at designated spots in the country. There are, however, several places in San Ignacio where it is easy enough to get a minibus to Tikal. You might want to stop in at Eva's Restaurant on Burns Avenue. Bob can find you reliable transport to Tikal.
