Who knows where folks are finding the best airfares to belize from various US cities? Just doesn't seem right that it should cost 50% more to fly to belize than to london.

If you don't have a travel agent to help you:

check orbitz, expedia and travelocity. we had better luck with them than we did with a travel wholesaler. Also continental is doing some good things recently.
Surprisingly TACA was over $100 more than our other options.

You can also check hotwire or make a bid on priceline but you loose your choice of flight times. With them you can only pick the date. You have to be much more flexible.

I wish I knew why $$$ are so outrageous! Been tracking airlines, websites, etc. daily and one is higher than the next. I'm coming out of Miami - I guess we just have to be REAL FLEXIBLE with dates ???

After seeing fares around $900 on Expedia and others, I contacted my local TA and told her there was no way I wanted to spend that much. She in turn contacted a flight consolidator they use, DFW Tours. They got me a flight for $618, but you couldn't use your credit card for that rate. For about $28 more, they would take credit card. Either try DFW Tours, or ask your TA to contact their consolidator.
