I am going to be travelling into belize in the middle of December for about a month and am needing some info. I was wondering what people would recommend about hotels on Caye Caulker. She I book a hotel for the entire stay or should I book a hotel for a week and see if this is a good place or maybe try different hotels throughout the trip. I am not sure how hard it is to get hotels in December there and if it is hard can anyone recommend a good one to stay.

I have to agree with motel1788. December is high season and you should book your room soon.

As an alternative to a hotel, you might want to try one of the private homes listed on the www.cayecaulkerhomes.com website.

Book your rooms with the option to get your money back if you do not like the place that you are staying. I have known of a couple incidents where visitors paid for something that they never received. This is in no way to say that on Caye Caulker this will happen.
