To the CC community...
As a visitor to your island, I just wanted to express my appreciation that CC exists, that the businesses were courteous and helpful and for the most part fair and honest, and for the wealth of information I gained from talking and spending time with locals from all walks of life, cultures, nationalities, beliefs - I enjoyed the diving, food and my surroundings, but I think I enjoyed meeting the people of CC the most. Can't wait to come back again!!

**Doris & Terry at the TreeTops Hotel. Wonderful lodging (their home), immaculately clean, inexpensive, quiet, accommodating. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED LODGING - especially the suite with private bath, odor-free water, air conditioning, cable tv, mini-fridge and a huge bed...$45 US dollars per night!!!
**Jessie & Peter at De Real Macaw guesthouse. Great location, good price for an air conditioned room with mini-fridge...$50 US per night.
**Ben, Cecilia, Mark, Pattie, Maribel, Francois, and all the staff at Paradise Down. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR DIVING - fun & safe, prices inexpensive & comparable to other shops, include all equipment, snacks, lunch, drinks, fast & comfortable boat (makes for shorter trips to the dive sites), and the jokes by divemaster Ben come free of charge. Ended up diving (11 dives) our entire vacation with them.
**Christa - 1 hr (or more) MASSAGES for $35 US. She's a wonderful spirit - relaxing, especially in the evenings. Inquire at Cindy's Cafe.
**Great hangouts we found to fit our personalities (we didn't make it to every establishment, but we sure tried):
*Rasta Pasta - Jake, the bartender, was really great. Their food was very tasty, too.
*Oceanside Bar - free popcorn with drinks, dancing and live band on Friday night was hot, can play games like darts, dominoes, cards, video poker, etc.
*Rainbow - 'on the water' atmosphere, attached to a pier, great food.
*Popeyes - pizza was excellent, free delivery too.
*Happy Lobster - happy hour 1-7pm, food was delicious.
*Habaneros - very tasty, large portions.
*Jolly Rogers - grilled lobsters, great prices.
*I & I Bar - drinks, Reggae music and swings to sit on (instead of bar stools).
*The Pink House - quick & yummy breakfast for $2.50 US (fry jacks, eggs, sausage, beans/rice)
*Tropical Paradise - very good food for the money, quick service.
*Sunset View Disco - pool upstairs; dancing in large, air conditioned space.
