I was wondering if anyone can give me a head's up on what Tina's Backpacker Hostel is like. I would like to stay there for a week starting Jan 10th. Reservations recommended/available?

I will be staying with my girlfriend but there are few options that work out as cheap as Tina's and have access to a kitchen.

I think Tina's Place has a kitchen but you need to hurry up with your reservations since the island is filling up quickly. It seems that we are off to an early start in the tourist season this year. I think Tina's Hostel will probably be most reasonable on the island.

I HOPE TO STAY AT TINA'S AS WELL, IN APRIL. FROM WHAT I HAVE READ, YOU CAN STAY IN A ROOM- SHE HAS 19 BEDS - (4 TO A ROOM, SHARED BATH) FOR ABOUT $7.50(U.S.) ALSO CAN PITCH A TENT ON THE SAND THERE, 7 OR SLEEP IN A HAMMOCK FOR 5 BUCKS. SEVERAL OTHER "INEXPENSIVE" PLACES THERE BUT TINA'S IS NEAR "THE SPIT" FOR SWIMMING.
