Worldwide Rolls Out With 35 of L.A.'S Top Revenue Producers and Some $65 Million in Inventory Worldwide


BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., Oct. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- In keeping with his philosophy to invest only in things he loves, Merv Griffin, Chairman of The Griffin Group, has announced the creation of Worldwide, L.P., a residential real estate brokerage firm, which already has more than $65 million in inventory within its first 8 weeks in business.

Thirty-five seasoned agents have joined the start-up company, under the leadership of Steve Lewis, an industry veteran with over 20 years in the brokerage business, who will be its President.

Although presently in temporary headquarters, Worldwide is scheduled to move November 1st into nearly 10,000 square feet on the mezzanine level of 9601 Wilshire Boulevard in Beverly Hills, a prestige address already occupied by such high-profile tenants as Endeavor Talent Agency, Sports Club LA, and Countrywide.

Merv Griffin, an astute property investor in real estate, hotels and casinos, has a long personal history with Lewis. "I was Steve's first client when he became an agent in 1986.
