Just read today in the Reporter that GOB granted off shore oil exploration rights to a Taiwanese company. There goes the reef!!

Read something in the Toronto Globe and Mail this summer about Venezuala "sharing" Belize' oil profits...don't remember the details, but it was a 60/40 split with Venezuala getting the larger share. Anyone know what's up with that?

i think that this finding is gonna do a lot for the economy in Belize!! mind u if the gov't uses it properly!!!
