FLYING IS FASTER, THE BUS CHEAPER BUT MORE SCENIC, IF YOU'D PREFER TO FLY, FLY.

You can take a Fancy bus for USD$22 to Chetumal. It includes two and a half movies (English with Spanish subtitles) Then taxi to Corozal then Tropic Air to Caye Caulker for BZ$110. Stops in San Pedro.

There are no sceduled flights from Cancun to Belize. Aerocaribe used to have flights on the weekends but discontinued them more than 2 years ago. Right now the bus is your only option unless you charter a plane. Then you can do as keycocker suggested and fly from Corozal to Caye Caulker via San Pedro. Another option is to take the water taxi from Corozal to San Pedro, and then a water taxi from San Pedro to Caye Caulker. The price to do that is $58($40 Corozal to SP, $18 SP to CC-one way) The disadvantage is on a short vacation the time spent traveling is excessive when you can fly right in Belize City and then take a water taxi to Cae Caulker. The bus trip via Cancun is more than one day of travel to get to Caye Caulker.

I have done this a few times now...your best bet and cost effectiveness, is first, go to a travel agency in cancun, I always go to the one closest to downtown on your left you can see it, take a bus to town. Anyways I always pickup my return airfare from Chetumal to cancun there..you probably can get both there and back, saves alot of time, I usually bus it to chetemal and like Keycocker said cab it to the border then to tropic air, but you can save 5 hours by flying, I always like at least flying back to Cancoun and soak up as much time in Belize, my email is stobe14@yahoo.com if you have any more questions.
