WHich is the best way to get to Tikal from belize city....bus..fly...whats the cost and how long is the bus trip..I guess you get to Flores then to Tikal but just looking for the best route, also is it a nice drive, buses are nice??? ANy help I would really appreciate it....also are they rebuilding the Seaside Cabanas????

Hi, yes Seaside is starting construction this week and hope to be open early in the year. We do have an office set up for tours and information. To go to Tikal you can take a bus from the Marine Terminal at 9:30AM and reach Flores around 2:30 then take a 3:30 bus to Tikal which takes 1 hour then you can catch sunset, spend the night at Tikal then have the whole next day there. You can also fly from Belize International twice a day for $176Bz. Stop in at Seaside and we can help you make your arrangements.
