My friend and I will be in AC for 10 days in the latter part of January. We did a day trip last year to CC and of course fell in love with the island, and considered coming to CC instead this year, but overall think AC is a better fit for most of our time.

Nevertheless, we want to spend a longer stint of time in CC this year to see if we can be converted. We are thinking of doing an overnight so that we can hang out, have dinner, see some good night life (which nights are best?), relax with a good view of the water in the AM, snorkel the split and then take our time getting back to AC the next day. Something like that.

Suggestions on where to stay? We are looking for something under $140 or so. Where to go for fun nightlife? What night to do this... we're willing to skip Barefoot Skinny in AC if CC has something fun going on, but are hoping that we can coordinate the right timing. (We are arriving on a Friday and staying until the next Sunday.)

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!!

Definitely hit the Oceanside on a Friday night (after 9 p.m.) for Dennis Wolfe and Scott.
There are lots of decent accommodations for under $140. Auxillou Beach Suites, Diane's Beach House, Lazy Iguana Bed & Breakfast, Morningstar Guesthouse, Popeyes Beach, Caye Caulker Condos, Caye Caulker Apartments, De Real Macaw, are in the medium to high price range (over $50 U.S. up to $125 a night).

Thanks for the suggestions. We will be there for 2 Friday nights, so that may be a good option. We can spend our first in AC and our second in CC. We'll check out your recommendations on hotels as well.

Again, thanks!
