We are arriving in Belize City on Christmas day around 2 p.m. Will there be a problem getting a water taxi to Caye Caulker on Christmas Day? What will be the going taxi rate from the airport to the water taxi terminal? We are really getting excited about our trip. Thanks for your help on previous posts.

I have friends arriving on the same day.Watertaxi's run every day even on holidays. Taxi from airport is about 15usd.

You will have no problem getting a water taxi to Caye Caulker. The last water taxi departs at 5:30 p.m. Cab ride from the Phillip Goldson International Airport to the marine terminal is give or take $20 U.S. one way (for the cab), and one way water taxi from Bze. City to Caye Caulker is $9 U.S.

Just ask the cabbie to take you to the "water taxi terminal near the swing bridge."
