Hi All. I'm in the very early planning stages of my "possible" 4th trip back to CC. We're looking at a summer stay for the first time. Sometime around late June or early July. So I have a number of Q's. Possibly 3 couples. (2pair are vets 1pair rookies.)
1. Weather... I know it's the rainy season, but how's that stack up on CC?
2.Wind. (Fishaholics here)...does it moderate in summer?
3. Are there summer rates? (Budget minded)
4. House rental for week/10days? (6 persons)
5. Is Lobster season Open?...(only thing I eat)
6. Is Eloy& Rokay (sp) Badillo still guiding?
7. Are Orchids blooming on mainland then? (wife is botanical type)

Weather - June was just perfect in 2003. Rain didn't start until October. Hard to predict the weather.

Wind factor - Should be minimal at best. See above posting (June was just perfect in 2003 :-)

Lobster - Lobster season opens on June 15th.

Eloy and Roque - Still guiding. No problem in that respect.

Orchids - bloom all year round. Have a great birding / nature trail on the mainland in mind for wife.
