Great story and pictures Wendy!

It was an awesome race, the start was crazy crazy! We were way back but ate them up and came in 15th with a time of 3hrs 4 minutes and change. Slinky Ting a male masters team beat us out right at the end unfortunately, with old age and treachery beating youth and good looks!
We'd like to thank Wendy and Auxillou Suites for the lions share of our spnsorship, but we'd also like to graciously mention Toucan Canoe, CC Village Council, Frenchies, Tsunami, Belize Dive Services, Chocolate, Iguana Reef, EZ Boy, M&N, Carlos Ayela, Marios, Caribbean Colours, Madelines Supply, Star Tours, Alberts, Rainbow, CC Condos, Cayeboard Connection, and I've probably missed a few, you know who you are and we will officially thank you in a future posting.

Congrats to the Barracudas who placed third in the Mixed Team Division and 21st overall in the La Ruta Maya Canoe Race this past weekend.

These folks paddled sometimes up to eight hours straight without stopping, four days in a row. My hats off the them for their incredible accomplishment and energy.
