I'm curious about the availability of ATM's on Caye Caulker and what kind they are. When my wife and I travel we've gotten spoiled and pretty much live off the plastic. But bringing $$$ isn't a problem for us. Thanks in advance.

blues...,
No ATM. You can go to the Bank and get a cash advance (Bze $). U.S. money is good. Small bills please. Most Hotels accept plastic with a fee. Come ENJOY!!!!
Cheers, Dan

I used my ATM card that goes through the Visa system at the bank in Caulker with no problem at all. So, you CAN use your ATM card, IF it has the Visa logo on it, but only at the bank. Also, if your ATM card has the Visa logo on it, you can use it anywhere that accepts Visa, but you will be surcharged by the business.

Thanks again for the responses. It's good to know that our ATM card will work but I think we'll bring plenty of cash and travelers checks. I can't tell you how much we're looking forward to this vacation! We're both very laid back and we think CC will be just the ticket for us. I'm looking forward to picking some blues in paradise with my little Martin Backpacker. [Linked Image]

Bluespicker...I'll be listening for your picking. I'm bringin my Delbert and Eric CDs. Have a cottage on the beach starting 12/16. Drop in if you're in the neighborhood and you'll recognize the neighborhood by the music you are hearing. LOL

It sounds like you've got the music covered! I'm a huge Delbert fan. But unless you're going to be in CC for a couple of months it sounds like I'll miss you. We're there Feb. 12th through the 24th.

Bluespicker...sidebar
Do you know who's playing that wonderful blues guitar intro on the MSNBC IMUS in the Morning show. E-mailed them asking but can't get a response. Sorry about posting this here but there's no email for a private message.
Thanks

I posted the question on another board I frequent and the answer I got was Stevie Ray Vaughn playing they believe Texas Flood. I couldn't tell you if this is the right answer because I've never seen the show. I might have to check it out to hear it for myself.
