Hi Guys,

5 days into a three month stay and I have had my house broken into and my fishing Pole and camera stolen.

Luckiliy for the theives the camera had fallen into the sea the day before and wasn't working!

If anyone can help or gets offered the pole (harris rod and quantum reel) please let me know as I only came to fish.

I will be happy to buy dinner for those that help.

rapidly becoming disenchanted with CC.

Not that it will make it better or you may fell better but the same action could happen at your home and more likely does all the time. When you travel you assume the grass it greener on the "other hill". CC is beautiful and such a wonderful social infrastructure for a carribean island but all humanity not that much different anywhere in the world. Accept it, work to help change it and move on. Hard, yes but look at the bright side. You can rent a pole and buy tackle near the spit and buy new when you get home.
ya, it sucks but is it any different than your own back porch? No excuse for others actions but you may gat lucky, like at home, and find it. it is a samll island.
Enjoy.
