I'll be coming through Belize and Caye Caulker in February and would appreciate any tips about the must do's while there. How is the golf course? Any advice on the best "beach hut" accomodations? Trends and De Real Macaw looked good ...

thanks in advance [Linked Image]

Trust me, leave your clubs at home.

I would agree on the leave the clubs home idea. The only place I have really been to that has golf is Caye Chapel. You can rent clubs there if you would like. If you dive that is a must do. Many of the tours into Belize from the city are interesting and fun. Just depend how adventurous you are.

I personally enjoy sitting at the split doing nothing for the week. See you in Feb.

Thanks for the hints, I won't get too excited about golfing. I've got just over a week to spend in Belize and I want to experience the best things (naturally) so where would be a good place to stay on the mainland? quiet and relaxing is good, but so is a city or viliage with a good night life. Also, what national parks are worth my while? And thank you so so much for the help.
