What a great resource this board is.
I have many questions. Are there any guides
who would take my wife and I out snorkeling
and then let me get in a little fishing. I will bring some light tackle with me.
Are there coconuts available on the island,
the smaller ones that have the "jelly" and lots of juice. And speaking of juice are there plenty of fresh fruits available?
Will I be able to purchase a beach chair or
sizeable beach blanket on the island?
Are there many sand fleas?
Are there any places to swim other than the
split?
Can I ask (pay)and use a pool somewhere
if I am so inclined?
Does anyone recommend taking the boat vs flying from Belize airport?
Any general suggestions would be appreciated.

I will bring some light tackle with me.

-Mostly you choose between jelly or juice since the jelly turns into the juice and meat as the nut matures.Lots of cocos but remember to ask permission. Most folks are happy to give one but mad if you take without asking.

Only pool is at Seaside Cabanas.

-I like both but the flight isn't to be missed.Take the boat back it is cool too.

knowledge. First of all regarding the
coconuts, I figured I would be able
to buy them. I always respect the locals
customs, properties etc.
Some more questions!
Is there bait and or tackle for sale
on the island. For instance whole non
peeled frozen shrimp or conch? Fishing line and or lures available?Will the local kids scare up some crabs for me...happy to
pay for them.
Can I purchase a small cooler on the island?
Last time I was in Belize I spent 10 days
at MantaResort (Southwest Caye?)
Anyway I typically go to places much less
developed than CC but this is not a complaint. I can't wait to get there.
I am looking at snow right now and if I want
to go fishing I have to drill a hole in the
ice! I just want to be prepared.
