We are packed and ready to experience CC for the first time - and are staying @ Iguana Reef Inn. 1) What does everyone recommend - launch boat or plane to the island? We heard about the plane crash recently and are a little nervous. 2) Can we pack a couple cartons of cigs to bring w/us? 3) What's the average temp and humidity levels? 4) What's up with the recommendation of taking B12 vits everyday?
Love reading all your messages. They've been a great help! Thanks!

Water Taxi is OK. The terminal in Belize City is a bit of an experience though. The airport opened while we were there so flying wasn't an option.

Personally I'd recommend taking the plane to CC. It only takes 8 minutes and if you take the water taxi you first have to take a taxi to the WT terminal and then wait for the WT. Then it's a 40 minute ride to CC. But waht the hell.....as long as you get to CC is all that matters. We loved it and I'm sure you will also. I've never been more relaxed for 12 days in all my 52 years.

And you're allowed 1 carton of cigs per person but even if you bring more it doesn't seem to be a problem.

Bring your own carton. The local brands aren't bad, just a bit strong. Pack a book of matches in your carry-on, because you won't be allowed to take a lighter on your departing, or return, flight. They're only allowed in checked baggage. Relax, have fun, and don't forget your flip-flops.

Hi Gun Laker. Please let me know what you think about Iguanna Reef Inn. I'm considering staying there in May. I've been looking at several places there and don't have a clue so your feedback will mean a lot. Thanks
