The cafe formerly known as Cindy's is now "Amor Y Cafe." It's run by a lovely Dutch woman called Mika. They're open from 7am to noon every day but Monday. They serve very nice breakfasts, grilled cheese, fruit, granola & yogurt, etc. alongside coffee/espresso drinks and your usual breakfast drinks.

There's often a line of customers, indicative of how good the place is.

Enjoy!

Hey guys,
Does anyone know if there is anywhere to purchase bagels on the island? I can't imagine breakfast without them!

I had breakfast at Don Corleones this morning. They had bagels on the menu, with a few topping variations.

I also recommend that while in Caye Caulker you try some of the local favs, like fry jacks and johnny cakes. When in Rome...

Coco Loco Cafe located inside Caribbean Colors Art Gallery (1 building north of the police station) has a bagel & large coffee special for 6 bzd/$3 U.S. every day and opens at 7 a.m. You can get the bagel special all day until they close at 9 p.m.

I personally am a big fan of Happy Lobster and Coco Plum for breakfast. Looking forward to both next week

I agree with KnckrBckrNYC,
Not sure of the name but up from the
main dock there is a local place that serves
fry jacks and jonnycakes. Really great
stuff and the price was minimal. I think
it opens around 6am

You might be referring to Roses Cafe (johnny cake & fry jacks place).

Coco Loco is one of my personal favorites as well. Excellent high quality cakes, muffins and the like. Plus, iced coffee - my favorite on a hot afternoon.

Thanks and cheers,

Wendy,
It was called Roses. Thanks for the
memories! How is Diane? I noticed your new web site doesn't include her house rental.
Is she still the owner?

Cheers!

I do have her house (and others) listed here: www.auxilloubeachsuites.com/caye-caulker-homes.html

Thanks and cheers,
