Can an American obtain a mortgage from Atlantic Bank?

Excluding housing expenses, would $1000 USD
be enough to get by on?

I dont understand your question? Is $1.000 US enough to get by on to do what? Buy property or spend a weeks vacation here? No to the 1st and yes to the 2nd.

1. Properties are advertised in USD.

2. You can get a mortgage from Atlantic Bank, but you can also get a CHEAPER mortgage from any off the offshore banks serving Belize.

3. $1000/mth is quite sufficient to live on.

hope you get a deal with the prices all the real estate uncertified offices have. well once you said amrican they think wow huge amounts of green dollars to trow awayand rice the prices to the sky.

an y way best advice is to go the the locals who are selling u will get a better dael by 25% lower or better yet.
well see this guys ask for example a front property for 65 us well ucan get it for 80 belize ha ha. how bad of a rip off.
