I will be solo on the Caye and am looking for a cheap place to stay on the beach with a private room. Any ideas are greatly appreciated. Cheers

I stayed at Sandy lane motel one blk. back from the main or front st. and found it very clean but best of all the Novellos [owners]MrRicco/Miss Elma to be the nicest people they totally made my stay the best on caye caulker the rates are reasonable and rooms are clean if you stay at sandy lane you won't be disapointed

How about recommendations for a clean place to stay, private room, for around $40 Belize a night? Any suggestions?

Lorraines Guest house is 30bz per night with the tax to be added on and it is clean, quiet and on the beach front with a dock to sun yourself. They do not have a web site but take walk ins. Turn left from the water taxi dock walk beach front all the way down past Anchorage Hotel.
