I'm moving to San Pedro on May 18th, I was wondering if anyone down there has or knows somebody who has a second hand bike they are interested in selling.

If you're interested in a reasonably inexpensive new bike there are several suppliers in San Pedro. One is Belican Supply, email:"belican@btl.net". Better to get a single speed beach cruiser... fewer problems with sand, dirt and water.

You can buy a new bike at reasonable prices in Belize City and transport it on the water taxi. Mine in February was $150, BZ. It had lots of gears for about a week, but the ones that were one-speed, were twice the price. It was great to have and got tons of use.
