As the first property owner at the sub I find it unfortunate that there is so much buzz about nothing. Things are rolling along fine, not as fast as we would all like, but good under the circumstances. There might be a little lack of communication, but what do you expect with owners spread out all over the hemisphere.
Right from the beginning I believed that the sub was good for everyone involved; the developer, the buyers and all the residents of the island. CC is a beatiful place with beautiful people. I have lived in S.E. Asia, Africa, and in the U.S.; and now chose to live in Belize. People who think that there is a big problem here are mistaken. A little cooperation and patience will prove that this is going to be one of the nicest places in the country to live and visit.

I agree with lowflyer with some of his statements. I don't doubt that the property will be very nice some day. I am only concerned with being kept informed of major changes and having some input. If I had build my house on the lot next to the new marinal site (as I have been planning on doint in September), I would have been verry upset. I don't want to live on the boardwalk of a very active marina. I am not saying in any way that the investment will go south. Just keep things open and honest. I am sceptical about both of these attributes after my experiences. I think this marina is very positive so long as we all benefit from it and are notified of the plans ASAP. This hasn't happened and it must or I just won't be happy.
