Ok...so why would a Belizean (monopolistic) company who is extremely concerned about Belizean economics (see response to last April's Skype and Vonage blocking) list their pricing in US dollars?

• All charges are in US currency.
• Rates are GST exclusive
• Peak hours are 6:01 am to 5:59 pm (GMT -6)
• Off Peak hours are 6:00 pm to 6:00 am (GMT -6) and all weekend long.
• Charges are applied in increments of 15 seconds.

WHY DOESN'T AREA CODE 501 COME UP-MESSAGE SAID NOT AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME????

I downloaded the BTL VoIP setup, used a credit card to puchase minutes and tried to use it. At first it seemed to work but then went dead intermittently. Tried and tried ,finally phoning the local BTL office. The lady there called the big guns in Belize City and called me back with a message "The system is not functional yet...maybe around the 15th". I must keep trying as they won't notify me when its ready. Great customer service!!!

Uh, what more did you want from BTL. Lost a phone a couple of weeks ago and had to wait another week to get back my number as they didn't have any post-paid chips.

Well for starters why are they taking subscriptions and collecting $$, THEN telling you it isn't available?
