The last time I was at Caye Caulker I noticed the volleyball net set up near the cut but nobody was playing. I did see a photo on the Picture of the Day where there were people playing. Is there a special time when people gather to play? My wife and I will be there in late December/Early January would love to join in on a game or two.

The best place to catch a game is in the late afternoon, on the beach by the basketball court, between Tina's Backpackers Hostel and the Police Station. The only time I've ever seen peopleplaying volleyball at the split is during Easter.

The volleyball net at the split doesn't exist anymore. Its just a post in the water now.

Why? What happened?

Its just old and weathered. Probably some storm knocked it down.
