I am planning a trip to Belize in June and was wondering if anyone had any tips on getting the best airfare. I am able to fly our of Dallas. Are there any consolidators on travel agencies that people have had success with?

I am a travel agent for Belize-Vacations.com, and work with a consolidator regarding flights to Belize (Continental or American Airlines). I can usually get fares better than published online prices. When it came time to make reservations, I used http://Barbsbelize.com/ Great vacation packages, complete with airfare.

I called all of the consolidators, liquidators, Agencies, etc, and found about the same price from each of them ($850 or so from Nashville, TN for the last week in May). I finally offered Priceline.com $500 each and was successful, saving $700 on the two tickets. Good luck.

Found good price on airline tickets thru
a consolidator in New York. We got 6 tickets
for 504.00 each from Detroit to BZE on
Continental. It really pays to shop around.

www.skyauction.com always has airfare up for bid on ther sight. Usually goes for around $400 to $500 with the taxes.

I also used Priceline.com saved over half the fare of airlines and about 175.00 off the consolidators well worth it. got the exact internary as Continental qouted at 860.00 I paid 425.00 from Denver

He beat every other consolidators price. Give him your best fare and see what he can get for you. I am flying through Dallas where I will connect to TACA (operated by American Airlines).

We used Belize Tradewinds Travel Agency. Wholesale travel to Belize ONLY. They are very helpful, answer all your questions, and set up some REALLY nice vacations. The people are very nice. I found them on the net, and am SO glad I did. We are traveling with two boys, and they had some marvelous suggestions with them in mind.
